Alternative fuer Deutschland votes to expel a popular right-wing state leader from the party

Andreas Kalbitz since 2017 was a member of the AfD federal executive board. On February 13 it was announced that he - along with Björn Höcke and Hans-Thomas Tillschneider - had been under surveillance by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution since the beginning of the year.

GERMANY'S AfD PARTY VOTED TO EXPEL THEIR BRANDENBURG STATE LEADER Friday over his past connections with an alleged “neo-nazi” youth movement, despite Andreas Kalbitz' denial that he was ever a member. The vote was close: 7-5 with one abstention.

The current co-leaders of the AfD are Joerg Meuthen and Tino Chrupalla. Other top national leaders include Beatrix von Storch, Alice Weidel, Alexander Gauland and Stephan Brandner. Gauland, age 79, retired from the leadership position last year, but is still Federal Parliamentary Leader along with Weidel.

Getting public statements correct

EVERYWHERE I AM READING THAT Alexander Gauland (above), a leader of the Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) party in Germany, has said that Germany should be proud of what its military did in WWII. This gives quite a different impression than what Gauland actually said, which was that he specified 'soldiers'.

A current article by a Jew for the Australia Israel & Jewish Affairs Council is one of the few who gets it right and actually uses quotes rather than paraphrasing and twisting the meaning of what Gauland said. Shmuel Levin writes:

Frauke Petry interview opens discussion on 'Völkisch' as an acceptable term in Germany

IN AN INTERVIEW WITH WELT AM SONNTAG NEWSPAPER, the chief of the Alternative for Germany party came to the defense of the much-maligned adjective völkisch [meaning popular; of the people, national]. Naturally the liberal German media is tearing into her. They call the word racist because it was used by the National Socialists. It stems, of course, from the word Volk [the people; nation], in common usage still today and fully acceptable.

AfD's Petry recommends more Germans carry guns; Green party goes beserk

FRAUKE PETRY HAS SAID GOVERNMENT HAS LOST ITS STATE MONOPOLY to protect the public, especially in thinly populated areas.

As reported by DW.com, AfD leader Petry said there were no grounds for concern when citizens armed themselves for self-protection in areas where austerity measures by national and regional governments had systematically ruined police services. She was quoted as saying:

Every law abiding person should be in the position to protect himself, his family and his friends.

Immediately Green Party co-leader Katrin Göring-Eckardt denounced Petry for wanting to “put weapons in the wrong hands,” saying that trained recruits should be hired where police forces were depleted. As if German people cannot be trusted with a private weapon for self-defense, which is exactly what the Green party and other left-leaning parties believe. And where do the “trained recruits” come from? This is just the Left's historic demand for strict gun-control to keep weapons in government's hands and the people powerless.

Watch this horrible bully conduct an interview with Frauke Petry

This is a promotional image created by Conflict Zone and Deutsche Welle. Interviewer Tim Sebastian on the left, Frauke Petry right.

Go right away, before it's taken down. I don't know how long the video will remain available at Deutsche Welle. It's a really amazing look into the nastiness of the European establishment-globalist left, here: http://www.dw.com/en/frauke-petrys-afd-worried-or-xenophobic-citizens/a-19136333

Englishman Tim Sebastian does a DW show called Conflict Zone, apparently. I wouldn't know if he is this unpleasant on every show, but he sure set out to brutally beat Frauke Petry into submission on this one. Vicious!
