Political activist and revisionist Günter Deckert in 2019 in London, looking hale and hearty.

GÜNTER DECKERT PASSED FROM THIS FALLEN WORLD ON MARCH 31, 2022 AT AGE 82. I do not have any information as yet on the cause of death and do not know if it was preceded by an illness. He was, however, active in local political electioneering in his home city of Weinheim well into the month of March, so if he did fall ill, it was brief.

Günter was always a dynamic personality. He had a successful career teaching English and French in German high (upper level) schools and colleges for 20 years, from 1968 to 1988, and during that time he was a member of the NPD (National Democratic Party) and the 'Deutsche Liste.' He was National Chairman of the NPD from 1991 to 2005.

It was Günter's involvement in translating the words and works of English and French speaking holocaust revisionists that got him in trouble with convoluted German Law. In 1995 he was sentenced to two years in prison for "dangerous political incendiarism", which was extended to five years because of private correspondence he carried on while in prison with one of the Chosen Ones. The Chosen One reported it!

On a trip to Germany in 2008, I took a morning train south from the Frankfurt airport to Weinheim in Rhineland-Palatinate, where Gunter was waiting for me when I arrived. We spent the day sightseeing throughout his very historic section of southwest Germany—beginning in ancient Worms and ending in romantic Heidelberg in Baden-Wurttemberg—where, I learned later, my own German ancesters had originally come. Had I known I would have scheduled more time there.

Günter was a highly knowledgeable—and professional!—guide, having established his own tour business after prison.

Later, he became a very popular guest in the early years of my radio broadcasting. Here are six of his programs.

I offer an affectionate and respectful salute to a truly great German. Thank you, Günter. We'll miss you more than you'll ever miss this world, I'm sure!

Ursula's Appeal is denied.

Ursula Haverbeck at her appeal hearing where she was represented by Berlin attorney Wolfram Nahrath (on the right).

A BERLIN COURT HAS SENTENCED A 93-YEAR OLD GERMAN WOMAN TO 12 MONTHS IN PRISON for saying that Auschwitz was not a "death camp" where 1 million Jews were murdered. The judge accused Frau Ursula Haverbeck of “spreading poison,” not research!

The nonagenarian has already served a two and a half years sentence (May 2018-November 2020 -- she was denied early release for good behavior, which she should have received). Now, to continue to keep her invisible to the public and unable to speak, they are using two other prior sentences to lock her up again for another year. This is truly elder abuse of the worst sort.

The Berlin regional court on Friday rejected an appeal by Ursula Haverbeck against two convictions for Holocaust denial in 2017 and 2020. Judges ruled that the sentence could not be suspended because Haverbeck had shown no remorse or signs of changing her views during the appeal hearings.

Why should she express remorse when she is telling the truth and it is the court that is repeating lies about Auschwitz that are forbidden to be questioned or refuted in the courtroom. Everything about these trials is twisted. Up is down and down is up.

The DW (Deutsche Welle) news report says that:

Haverbeck repeatedly claimed that Auschwitz was "not historically proven" to be a death camp, claiming it was a labor camp instead.

In fact, no acceptable proof has ever been presented by the authorities to show that Auschwitz was a death camp. In place of proof, the courts are given witness testimony and the public is shown nothing more than crematory ovens. Witness testimony, to be valid, must be accompanied with documentation. No credible documentation exists, so the witness testimony (without cross-examination!) is accepted as "proof" by itself.

An estimated 1.1 million people were murdered at the camp in Nazi-occupied Poland; 90% of the victims were Jewish.

False. There is no proof of anything close to this number of deaths, nor of a murder weapon. There is no evidence showing that 90% or even a majority of inmates were Jewish. This is just a figure that is consistently repeated by the news media.

On DW's website, on the page linked to above, there's a short video “explaining” that Article 5 guarantees free speech to all Germans – but with conditions:

Article 5 (1) of the German Basic Law, which serves as their Constitution, guarantees: Every person shall have the right freely to express and disseminate his opinions in speech, writing and pictures.

But ...

that doesn't mean 'anything goes.' Inciting hatred, holocaust denial, other lies and insults are punishable offenses. Sometimes the courts must define the limits of free speech.

The State, through its state media, is the one lying and falsifying history, not the defendant. This is a travesty of justice. Frau Haverbeck, along with other serious revisionists, are asking questions. The state media, on the other hand, present nothing to back up its  lies, but use the Nuremberg Tribunal tactic of allowing the court to “take judicial notice” of what it considers “common knowledge,” for which no evidentiary proof is needed.

This image was found at heritageanddestiny.com and shows Ursula Haverbeck (second from left) outside the Berlin court of appeal on 1st April 2022 with (left to right) Dennis Ingo Schulz, Lady Michèle Renouf, and Nikolai Nerling who were there to support Ursula.

Comments

Thank you for covering this very, very important story.  This is an international OUTRAGE; and I do agree, it is elder abuse.  It is also mockery -- and abuse -- of the very idea of "freedom", and of "democratic values".
The treatment of Ursula Haverbeck is a travesty, and those responsible for it are shamless monsters.

Thank you for the updates and links, Carolyn.  I look forward to relistening to the programs with Gunther.  Thank you for your years of work.

I'll second that AJ. The dedicated service of Deckert, Haverbeck and our host is very much appreciated and, more important, effective.

I want to quote from Germar Rudolf's 2016 book "Resistance is Obligatory", pgs. 118-19, referring to the Deckert trials:

The second much more drastic restriction of free speech followed in 1994 as a result of the first round of trials against then national chairman of the National Democratic Party Günter Deckert, the outcome of which had been deemed a scandal by media and politiciams. [First a mistrial, then Deckert had been given a suspended sentence. -cy]

In that year a special law had been introduced during the revision of Article 130 of the German Penal Code, which, for the first time in German judicial history, expressly aims at the suppression of only one particular opinion about only one certain topic.

[...]

In 2005 ... a new restriction to freedom of speech was added to Article 130: a measure permitting the specific and exclusive prosecution of revisionist and historical dissidents and politicians of the right-wing opposition.

This offense can be committed only by (alleged) right-wingers because in Germany it is automatically insinuated that they intend to glorify the Third Reich. Hence, Article 130 has been converted into an article for the illegal suppression of the legal right-wing political opposition.

In Germany, it's become a crime to be politically right-wing!

Unlike her detractors and persecutors, when Ursula passes she will rest easy, knowing that while math and science do not lie, people sadly do lie.
