FOLLOWING PRIME MINISTER BENJAMIN NETANYAHU'S ANNOUNCEMENT on Dec. 18, 2017 that Israel's Foreign Office would instruct it's ministers to work only with lower-ranking officials from the Austrian ministries now headed by members of the FPÖ party, some far-left reactionaries and Jews have released an Open Letter also calling for a partial boycott of Austria's new cabinet.
Ho hum, I guess they felt someone needed to do something. None of the signers are currently in government, so it's just a headline they're trying to get. It appears there are only seven signers (or maybe sponsors): former French foreign minister Bernard Kouchner (Jew, pictured at right) and anti-racist Benjamin Abtan of AGEM; Leftist Jose Ramos-Horta (Nobel Peace Prize winner from East Timor; former Spanish foreign minister Socialist Miguel-Angel Moratinos, former Canadian PM Kim Campbell, and those tired old Nazi-Hunters Beate and Serge Klarsfeld.

The letter condemns the "culpable silence and apathy” that prevailed in Europe on December 18 when Kurz's cabinet, including FPÖ leader Heinz-Christian Strache, was inaugurated. An unedited automatic translation of what appeared in the Le Monde newspaper is as follows:

Let's not look away: it was the heirs of Nazism who came into power in the new Austrian government. We are all concerned because we are all threatened by their hateful ideology of hatred. Democracy and Europe are facing a new push, which could be fatal. It's a dangerous step.
Yet it is in a guilty silence and apathy that chancelleries [embassies] on the street have welcomed this news.
We reject the idea that the progress of nationalism and the end of democracy would be inevitable, and the action against the heirs of Nazism, useless or even illegitimate. On the contrary, we believe that it is the ethical, civic and political responsibility of everyone to confront them resolutely.
That is why we are calling for the banishment of Europe from this Austrian government. In practice, this means that far-right Austrian ministers should not be received by any of their European counterparts, who should not attend any meetings or meet with them.
It also means the boycott by the Heads of State and Government of the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, between 1 July and 31 December 2018.
It is not by permissively permitting the ideologies that led to its destruction that the future of Europe can be built, but by fighting vigorously for its fundamental humanistic values. It goes with the nature of our shared destiny.
The FPÖ leaders who have accepted cabinet portfolios are Herbert Kickl (former party chairman) as Minister of the Interior; Mario Kunasek as Minister of Defence; Norbert Hofer (recent candidate for President of Austria) as Minister for Infrastructure; and HC Strache as Minister for Sport and Civil Service, as well as Vice Chancellor. Karin Kneissl was appointed Foreign Minister by Strache. I don't think Europe is going to follow this boycott path this time around, as they did back in 2000 with Joerg Haider.

Regarding the ÖVP and FPÖ.

The re-emergence of the "far-right" in Austria was what to be expected. Kurz of the ÖVP vowed to protect the Jewish community. HC Strache and Kurz have visited Israel in the past and I see Israel's criticism of them opportunistic. Kurz assured to Israel after complaints from the Israeli goverment that he would not let the Jews down. We can even look to other incidence in the past that the FPÖ are kosher approved. You may recall Norbert Hofer had the gall to suggest Hitler's home and birthplace be torn down. All I can say is, I do not expect much from this coalition and the probability of them succeeding is slim. The run the same exact platforms of other populist movements. Marine Le Pen can be used as an example. She failed miserably. There's a whole slew of these types of movements that preach the same exact thing not worrying about the Jewish threat of how they are playing the role in the immigration crisis.

What I suggest to you, Robert, is that you stop being just an Internet warrior and get out into the real world and do the things you think need to be done. Every person who talks like you do and has tried that, has failed. It's not as easy as you suggest by your annonymous words, protected in the USA by the First Amendment.
The reality of the FPOe being in the government, holding government positions, is a big deal. These people worked hard to bring it about.

Le Pen's Front National is the only viable patriotic movement in France, and going to the second run in the last presidential election is no small feat when the whole establishment is geared against you. Now they are trying to financially strangle Le Front National by denying them bank accounts, credit cards etc... The best thing in the world is being a ciberspace commando: You don't run any risks, it's a 100% safe job.

The problem with being a "Cyberspace Commando" is that one's blog and website tend to become nothing but an "intellectual playpen" or an "online history club" where a few like-minded people remain sequestered and just talk amongst themselves and not achieve anything in the real world. The powers that be like this because it keeps us out of their hair, on the fringe and from causing real trouble for them.
What can people do for the cause? Some suggestions: Lobbying, raising funds for groups, forming an/or buying media and advertising groups, form groups to get laws changed (for holocaust and free speech laws), publishing and getting the information out (maybe mass mailing campaigns?), form local meetup groups, taking legal action at the U.N. or the human rights courts (The Hague?) - I'm just brainstorming here.

Lots of news today about the Soldiers of Odin, a NGO registered group created in 2015 in Finland as "neighbourhood helpers" to protect the more vulnerable against the rapeugees in the wake of the 2015-2016 immigration crises. They are now patrolling some communities in Germany which caused the attention of the German authorities - hence the news. They have chapters in many other European countries, the USA etc..
Unfortunately they are small in numbers compared to the millions of Soldiers of Jesus who are all over the place helping anyone who happens not to be white.

Patting each other on the back and congratulating each other for well done and thorough research, and selling books to each other, although all of these things are indeed important, are just not enough and not going to get the job done. To all of the bloggers, authors and other awake, like-minded people - What are you waiting for? Get involved! Are you counting on osmosis to get the real heavy work done? That’s not going to happen. We have 70+ years of lies, fraud, negative social programming and conditioning to overcome.
New government in austria - Weak response by the usual suspects

Revolutionary Standards - 'Not adequate'! Robert has no idea of the intellectual climate in good-old-europe. In the UK some poor shmok was sentenced to 15 yrs in prison for damaging a mosque (not any persons) with some object soaked in pig-blood. Followed by 15 years of probation.
Participation in the governing coalition by the FPOE should be welcomed, Austria is 10 years ahaead of germany when it comes to re-introducing reason in politics. Kurz has won the election because of his termination of the 'balkan-route' in 2015, which is exactly what the FPOE would have done in the situation.
Campaigns like that fall flat with the austrian people. Reading the text, I have to say: it does not even come across very passionate.
We should show a little patience with the new ÖVP/FPÖ-Coalition in Austria.
