Warren B. In this fascinating program, he delves into Wiesel's "friendships" with Catholic bishops, cardinals and popes.
Elie Wiesel, as an Hasidic Orthodox Jew, was brought up to hate and fear all Christian churches, yet he formed influential relationships with a number of Catholic leaders. Wiesel and his fellow Jews' campaign against the canonization of Pius XII, their abuse of New York City's Archbishop John Cardinal O'Conner, the syncophancy of his successor Cardinal Dolan, and John Paul II's Pontifical Commissions are all discussed. Finally, the current Pope Francis' extreme philo-semitism, and how he got elected, is brought out.

THE KGB PRODUCES A PLAY In 1963, General Ivan Agayants, the famous chief of the KGB’s disinformation department, landed in Bucharest to thank us for our help. He told us that “Seat-12” had materialized into a powerful play attacking Pope Pius XII, entitled The Deputy, an oblique reference to the pope as Christ’s representative on earth. Agayants took credit for the outline of the play, and he told us that it had voluminous appendices of background documents put together by his experts with help from the documents we had purloined from the Vatican. Agayants also told us that The Deputy’s producer, Erwin Piscator, was a devoted Communist who had a longstanding relationship with Moscow. In 1929 he had founded the Proletarian Theater in Berlin, then sought political asylum in the Soviet Union when Hitler came to power, and a few years later had “emigrated” to the United States. In 1962 Piscator had returned to West Berlin to produce The Deputy.

Holocaust Mural Proposed for Portuguese Chapel Near Fatima

During the meeting, journalist Nicholas Tozer, former editor of the daily newspaper Buenos Aires Herald, presented a report about the Fatima-Reconciliation Project launched by the Raoul Wallenberg International Foundation, which involves setting up a mural symbolising the bringing together Jews and Christians on a site close to the great Marian sanctuary in Portugal.
This project was recently announced during a meeting called in New York by Archbishop Renato Martino, Apostolic Nuncio to the UN, with the presence of the Bishop of Fatima, Monsignor Serafín Ferreira. Speaking there the Argentine born founder of the Wallenberg Foundation, Baruch Tenembaum, proposed a toast to hope, ”a transcendental concept that it is shared by Christians and Jews alike”.

On the fifth anniversary of its inauguration which coincides with the Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Commemorative Mural to the Holocaust victims and of those murdered in the terrorist attacks to the Israel Embassy and the AMIA, constitutes an example of coexistence in Argentina ...
In its short history the Mural was visited by important worldwide personalities such as the Cardinals John O’Connor* and Angelo Sodano, Archbishop of New York and Secretary of the Holy See, respectively; the Nobel Peace Prize, Lech Walesa and the French intellectual Guy Sorman, among others.
It is worth mentioning that the German Evangelical Church has resolved to place in the Church of Our Father in the German capital a replica of the Mural. Thus, Berlin will be the second metropolis in the world to house a memorial of the people murdered in the Shoah within a Christian temple ...

The book Windswept House by Malachi Martin is a novel, but in it he tells a story about the infiltration of the Vatican by Satanists/Masons and their work to get a canon passed which allowed for the resignation and replacement of a pope. They were trying to get rid of JPII at the time. In his Art Bell interviews, as best I recall, he endorses the truth of the the basic story. I think they got their canon and subsequent resignation to get their candidate in but a couple of popes later than they wanted.
