John Friend has egg on his face from foolish talk with friend Fetzer

Published by carolyn on Wed, 2014-01-15 09:14

News reached me today that Michael Collins Piper is hospitalized because of a heart attack he suffered "sometime last week. "

http://theuglytruth.wordpress.com/2014/01/14/michael-collins-piper-hospi...

I listened last week or this past weekend to the first part of the "Realist Report" radio program and heard John Friend and his colleague Jim Fetzer joking about Michael Collins Piper "backing out" of participating in the program with them because he was afraid he would "lose the debate" on Sandy Hook.

At the beginning of the show, John reported that Mike had emailed him, with apologies, that he was having health issues and was not feeling well enough to come on the program on that day.

I know Mike Piper well enough to know that he DOES have some serious health issues but battles on in spite of them. Sometimes he is down and out (but not out for good). Since Friend works in some capacity for American Free Press, where Piper has been a major participant for years, Friend MUST be fully aware of Piper's health problems. Thus, I was quite suprised to hear Mr. Friend join in as Jim Fetzer began to ridicule Mike Piper for not showing up "because he was not prepared" to make a decent argument against their Sandy Hook Conspiracy theory.

Let me add that I am something of a Sandy Hook "conspiracy theorist" myself, though not fanatical about it. I save my "fanaticism" for other issues. This is not the reason for my critical attitude toward John Friend. It is that he displays no solid convictions that he will not at least partially relinquish in his overarching need to get along with everybody--but mostly the person in front of him at the moment.

Thus, in typical behavior for Friend, he and Fetzer continued on in this vein for a few minutes, at a minimum, having a lot of laughs over the supposed ineptitude of Piper. Since I know that Mike Piper is a big boy and can take care of himself, I'm not writing this out of sympathy, although I certainly wish him well in every respect.

I am writing this to point out that what has been the basis for my criticism of John from the beginning, is what we see in this rather ugly incident. For my part, I think Friend looks just right with all that egg on his face.

Carolyn Yeager.net is now 2 years old

Published by carolyn on Fri, 2013-09-27 11:07

207,000+ visits

have been made to this website in the two years since its inception on September 27, 2011. Last September, I reported about 75,000 visits in the first year. That means the site has drawn 132,000 visits this year, which is a 36% increase in traffic in 2013 over 2012, if I"m figuring correctly.

During this year, I have added the Wilhelm L. Kriessmann Archive (look on the upper menu bar), although I have failed to develop it as promised. It will eventually come though. I also added the Wenger Family Archive, which can be found on the sidebar. I plan to add a section on my family genealogy, once I get it all together. My desire is to have articles and visuals here that uniquely reflect my interests and concerns (which I hope will interest you, too) rather than to repeat more of the same that can be found elsewhere on the Internet.

My sincere thanks to all of you who faithfully check out this site, write to me and send financial contributions to help out with the expenses. I hope I can keep it up so you will have something to keep coming back to!

Is Ken Waltzer on the outs; or is he in hiding?

Published by carolyn on Sat, 2013-06-29 17:16

By Carolyn Yeager

Deborah Lipstadt slammed leaders of the Claims Conference on June 26, 2013. (Getty Images)

Prof. Kenneth Waltzer used to be the man to go to when the press wanted to know what to think about any “holocaust” scandal. An example is the book, that was ready to be made into a movie, by Herman and Roma Rosenblat, Angel at the Fence.  Waltzer gained a lot from his role in debunking the story (even though it was easy to do),  receiving attention in the press as an “honest holocaust historian. ”

Waltzer teaches German history at Michigan State University and is also director of its Jewish Studies Program since 1992 (with some time off).

When he was interviewed by Harper’s magazine about the Rosenblat fraud in December 2008, it boosted his reputation and standing.  But for some time now, the only one getting the media attention is Deborah Lipstadt, professor of Jewish Studies at Emory University. I have not seen a word written, nor any kind of announcement from Waltzer about his main project for months.  He spent 2011-2012 as the Winegarden Visiting Professor at UM-Flint during which time he worked with students creating their own papers to add to the overabundance of holocaust lore & trivia already in existence. [An interesting sidelight is that his students were directed to use "testimonies and memoirs"  as primary sources, and "books and articles" as secondary sources. There is obviously no need for original documents  in Prof. Waltzer's classes.]

I have been scrutinizing Waltzer on the pages of Elie Wiesel Cons The World (EWCTW), not only for mistakes in his holocaust historical account,  but also for deception and cover-ups. Can it be that, from this, Ken Waltzer has come to be seen as more of a liability than an asset to other holocaust historians? I can only say it is possible, and Deborah Lipstadt is one who would make such a determination faster than many others.  Lipstadt is like a pitbull when it comes to fighting to keep her Jewish Holo Legend afloat; like a hound dog when it comes to sniffing out dangers to it.

Could it be that she has smelled a bad odor coming from Waltzer’s repeated screw-ups as revealed right here at EWCTW, and perhaps has even had a private “scholar to scholar” meeting with him?

Email exchange reveals liars at Veterans Today

Published by carolyn on Fri, 2013-05-24 19:02

On May 20, Anthony Lawson (right), the well-respected videomaker, sent an email to John Allen at Veterans Today and to 16 other recipients. I happened to be one of the sixteen. It read:

Hello John,

This is about the third time of asking:

Why am I being blocked from commenting on articles on Veterans Today?

This followed Jim Dean's disgusting personal attack on me, when he wrote in a comment in answer to one of mine:

"By that [sic] way, how are the kids in Bangkok? Still doing your research?"

As I wrote originally:

The disgusting innuendo is quite clear.  Mr Dean knows that I live in Thailand (but I do not live in Bangkok) and the inference in the phrase ". . . how are the kids in Bangkok?" clearly refers to the fact that pedophilia and other sex crimes against children is rife in Thailand, and the phrase:  "Still doing your research?" is a veiled and sickening accusation that I have ever had anything to do with this nauseating trade in human misery.

This is not going away.  Dean should have been sacked from his position as managing editor for writing something like that in a publicly available comment. Instead, the person he made a savage verbal attack on is suddenly denied his right to comment on VT.  My login name and very simple 4-character password, that has worked for years, has been blocked ever since. What kind of show are you running?

Anthony Lawson

No answer from John Allen, but Gordo himself wrote to Allen and the rest of the names on the list:

Elie Wiesel flops at Kent State Convocation Center

Published by carolyn on Sun, 2013-04-14 11:31

By Carolyn Yeager

Wiesel demonstrates he has nothing to say to the world when the only news outlet to write anything at all about his speech is the Cleveland Jewish News.

This much-ballyhooed return visit to Kent State University on the April 11 anniversary of the “Buchenwald Liberation” in 1945 proved to be as  “much ado about nothing” as the earlier event 68 years ago really was in retrospect.

Wiesel, 83, looking tiny and munchkin-like sitting in a big yellow chair on the stage, uttered the same phrases we’ve heard for decades and they are sounding more hollow than ever. At kentwired.com, a University website, we find this summing up of the speech:

One of the major themes of Wiesel’s speech was the importance of having hope and his struggle with believing there is such a thing.

“Where there is no hope, our road and our path is to invent it,” Wiesel said. “I am here to teach you my hope because without it, I wouldn’t be here today.”

Invent it. That’s what Wiesel is good at: inventing things. He offered other similar thoughts that Kentwired considered worthy of quoting but are, in my opinion, devoid of any relevance when pondered for a few seconds, such as:

“For every word that a holocaust survivor writes, there are 10 more that haven’t been written,” said Wiesel. “Whoever listens to a witness becomes a witness.”

My comment on the first sentence: This is true of everyone’s written words. On the second: This well-worn phrase of his might be what is engraved on his tombstone-he has used it so often. Of his supposed liberation by U.S. soldiers at Buchenwald, he said:

Homosexuality and Child Sexual Abuse

Published by carolyn on Tue, 2012-10-16 22:28

This article was copied from Orthodoxy Today. The author is Timothy J. Dailey, Ph.D. Dr. Dailey was at the time of writing a senior fellow for culture studies at the Family Research Council.

Scandals involving the sexual abuse of under-age boys by homosexual priests have rocked the Roman Catholic Church. At the same time, defenders of homosexuality argue that youth organizations such as the Boy Scouts should be forced to include homosexuals among their adult leaders. Similarly, the Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), a homosexual activist organization that targets schools, has spearheaded the formation of "Gay-Straight Alliances" among students. GLSEN encourages homosexual teachers--even in the youngest grades--to be open about their sexuality, as a way of providing role models to "gay" students. In addition, laws or policies banning employment discrimination based on "sexual orientation" usually make no exception for those who work with children or youth.

Many parents have become concerned that children may be molested, encouraged to become sexually active, or even "recruited" into adopting a homosexual identity and lifestyle. Gay activists dismiss such concerns--in part, by strenuously insisting that there is no connection between homosexuality and the sexual abuse of children.

However, despite efforts by homosexual activists to distance the gay lifestyle from pedophilia, there remains a disturbing connection between the two. This is because, by definition, male homosexuals are sexually attracted to other males. While many homosexuals may not seek young sexual partners, the evidence indicates that disproportionate numbers of gay men seek adolescent males or boys as sexual partners. In this paper we will consider the following evidence linking homosexuality to pedophilia:

Pedophiles are invariably males: Almost all sex crimes against children are committed by men.

Significant numbers of victims are males: Up to one-third of all sex crimes against children are committed against boys (as opposed to girls).

The 10 percent fallacy: Studies indicate that, contrary to the inaccurate but widely accepted claims of sex researcher Alfred Kinsey, homosexuals comprise between 1 to 3 percent of the population.

Homosexuals are overrepresented in child sex offenses: Individuals from the 1 to 3 percent of the population that is sexually attracted to the same sex are committing up to one-third of the sex crimes against children.

Some homosexual activists defend the historic connection between homosexuality and pedophilia: Such activists consider the defense of "boy-lovers" to be a legitimate gay rights issue.

Pedophile themes abound in homosexual literary culture: Gay fiction as well as serious academic treatises promote "intergenerational intimacy."

Happy Birthday to the new Carolyn Yeager.com

Published by carolyn on Fri, 2012-09-28 11:42

74,600 visits

have been made to this web site in it's first year since this more sophisticated version of carolynyeager.com went online as carolynyeager.net on September 27, 2011. Yesterday, the actual birthday, was marred by some unexpected  unpleasantness so I didn't notice I had already reached the date I was watching for until this morning.

If not for the downtime this site experienced last Saturday through Wednesday (5 days!), it would easily have reached the round figure of 75,000 and higher. This is not a figure to actually brag about among more well-known sites but the visits, and downloads of podcasts too, have picked up noticeably and meaningfully in the past couple months. If I can stay online and have the features I want to have, next year's number will be considerably higher. I'm sorry I don't have the page views for the year to give out, since the current server stats available to me only cover part of August and September, 2012.

Well, it may at times be a rocky road, but I can only do my best, and find the best people to help me. We all certainly do tend to take for granted that these websites are available to us without considering the amount of work, time, skill and talent that is involved. It's that consumer mentality we have all taken on.

A big thank you to all of my loyal visitors, emailers and contributors, and to William Finck who built it and has kept it online in it's first year. Stick around!
