Josh Hawley's anti-cosmopolitan speech at the National Conservatism Conference

Published by carolyn on Mon, 2019-07-22 23:53

Josh Hawley, US senator from Missouri, delivered the final address at the recent National Conservatism Conference in Washington DC. He's been criticized by Jews for over-using the term 'cosmopolitan' as a pejorative.

THIS SPEECH, GIVEN A WEEK AGO TUESDAY, HAS ATTRACTED a lot of attention—especially in the Jewish Press. After reading about it there, I found the transcript and read it for myself. Now I needed to know more about his family background. Exactly who is Joshua David Hawley? Who were his parents? Turns out they aren't mentioned on his Wikipedia page or, I soon found out, on any other page online.

On the 75th Anniversary of the failed July 20 assassination attempt on Adolf Hitler

TRADITIONALLY, GERMANY'S CURRENT LEADERS LAY FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS IN the national colors of red and gold in the courtyard of the Bendlerblock, the large army headquarters in Berlin from where the plot leaders staged their attempted takeover of the German government and military known as Operation Valkyrie in 1944. It's still not known whether this year's 75th commemoration will be a more elaborate affair.

President of Germany bows his head in remembrance of the failed conspirators during a past July 20th commemoration ceremony at the Bendlerblock Army headquarters in Berlin.

Germany using increasingly repressive measures against political opposition

Published by carolyn on Fri, 2019-07-12 15:53

Germany's Identitarian movement members are young and clean-cut, but the domestic intelligence agency has placed them under increased surveillance as a "verified extreme right movement."

IN THE WAKE OF THE GROWING SUCCESS of anti-migration parties and their demand for protection of the national populations in Europe, the establishmentarians that remain in power are cracking down harshly and ramping up their anti-right rhetoric against any and all they see as threats to their control. In Germany we've seen the treatment of Pegida (Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamisation of the West – founded in 2014), hit with bad press, frivolous lawsuits and intrusive investigation by domestic intelligence agencies. The founder of Pegida has been sidelined by Facebook in ways that make it difficult to find and read his content.

A major monument honoring Poles in the center of Berlin? Never!

Published by carolyn on Sat, 2019-07-06 09:02

In Central Berlin, the entrance to the memorial built to commemorate alleged crimes of the National-Socialist government (1933-1945) that never occurred. More of the same is now being proposed for Poles.

HOW TO CONQUER the Germans … one way or the other. The Poles were never able to reach the 'promised land' in their historical quest to conquer and occupy Berlin, but they will never stop trying. The latest plan is to have the German government build a major monument to them as “victims of Nazism” in the center of Berlin, on a par with the memorials to the allegedly murdered Jews, the Sinti-Roma and the Homosexuals that currently take up large amounts of prime space in the German capital near the Reichstag. These are cultural groups that existed within Germany, at least, while the Poles are a foreign national population on foreign soil. What nation with any self-respect puts up a monument in the center of their capital city memorializing their enemy in a previous war? None that I know of.

REMAINS OF THE LARGEST PRISONER OF WAR CAMP IN BRITAIN, housing at least 11,000 Germans and Italians at its peak in 1944, has been uncovered by archaeologists from University of Sheffield.

The site is overgrown with woodlands and was forgotten for more than 60 years.

Centenaries converge for Versailles Treaty, Weimar Republic, High Seas Fleet scuttling

A German poster from 1919 showing 'what we are supposed to lose.'

THE 100th ANNIVERSARY OF THE SIGNING OF THE VERSAILLES PEACE TREATY was quietly commemorated this week in Germany. The date of the signing was June 28, 1919.

The treaty was 100% the creation of the Allied victors. No German negotiators were allowed to participate in discussing its content. Thus the peace treaty was a fait accompli which Germans never agreed to but were compelled to sign. It forced the country to pay billions in reparations; to give up its colonies in Africa, Asia and the Pacific region; and to cede almost 20% of its territory to other nations: Alsace-Lorraine became French and most of West Prussia became Polish. The victorious powers — led by the United States, Britain, France and Italy — declared Germany and its allies to be solely responsible for the outbreak of the war that they themselves had turned into a World War. They accused the Germans of having forced them into war (when it was clearly the other way around), thus holding the Reich accountable for "all losses and damages" incurred.

Joerg Meuthen, AfD Chairman, directs much-needed fire to his party's detractors

Published by carolyn on Tue, 2019-06-25 15:01

Jörg Meuthen: The AfD stands for non-violent discourse, which many media deny us.

I love this commentary from Meuthen which was posted on the Alternative for Deutschland website. It openly expresses the disgust he feels at the low blows that are consistently directed AfD's way from the entirety of the "respectable" immigration-loving, German-supressing parties and media that have held sway in the Federal Republic since it's beginning. Meuthen really lets go here, while maintaining his own dignified composure. Germany needs lots more of this. -CY

Berlin, 24 June 2019: What happened yesterday on ARD's Anne Will programme is probably the absolute low point in German talk show history to date - and at the same time a highlight of GEZ* brainwashing for the less informed television viewer. *[GEZ - processing center for German TV and radio licenses. Guest Editorial - June: Summer and Civilization

A scene from the great opera by Richard Wagner set in 16th century Nuremberg which is the inspiration for an essay on the summer solstice, American liberty, and our presidential and congressional election of 2020.

By Jim Lowe

ON FRIDAY, JUNE 21, we entered the Summer of 2019. That leaves just one year until a tornado of roaring political rhetoric will surround us, completely inescapable if one so much as turns on a radio, television set, or Internet connection.

One would wisely pause this month to consider the depth of what's at stake during the coming year, and at the culmination of its frenzy on Nov. 3, 2020.

Auschwitz Museum intrudes into political dispute, defending its brand

Published by carolyn on Wed, 2019-06-19 23:02

Auschwitz is one of the best-known brands in the world, and now it's showing its muscle on social media via controversial tweeting . On the left: MSNBC commentator Chris Hayes; right: Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

HOW HAS IT COME TO THIS? Will there be more of it in our future?

A far-left, first-term democrat congresswoman from New York compares detention facilities for illegal border-crossers to concentration camps. Republicans and their Jewish allies immediately jump on her for taking the name of the Jewish holocaust in vain, especially big Israel-supporter Congresswoman Liz Cheney who accused Dem Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of “evoking the extermintion of six million Jews” just to make a point about the treatment of migrants.

Problems listening to podcasts

Published by carolyn on Wed, 2019-06-19 13:35

I HAVE MANY ARCHIVED PODCASTS STORED here under "Radio Archives" on the sidebar.

Sometimes I hear from a listener who is having problems when using the players. What commonly happens is the player will play for a few minutes and then shut off, or sometimes restart at the beginning again, never getting past a certain length of time. I often have this problem myself.
